How to attend Tesla’s Battery Day event in-person at Fremont, California

Tesla recently fixed the date for its Annual Meeting of Shareholders and Battery Day event as September 22, 2020. The Battery Day event has been delayed by several months by the billionaire-founder Elon Musk, citing the importance of keeping the event in-person. The Battery Day event will take place right after the shareholder meeting ends, and will also include a tour of the battery production facility.

Before looking at the requirements to be able to attend the Battery Day event, let’s first see what we can expect to see during the presentation!

What is expected at “Battery Day?”

The Battery Day event has long been touted by Elon Musk as “one of the most exciting days in Tesla’s history” and that the company is “just trying to figure out the right timing for that.” It is at this event that Tesla is planning on unveiling the results of it’s secret “Project Roadrunner.” Tesla is expected to unveil its revolutionary “million-mile battery” technology and plans to manufacture the new battery cells.

The new battery technology that Tesla is expected to announce at its Battery Day event could change the history of electric-vehicle technology. One major drawback with EV battery cells is the wear down and reduction in total capacity over the years.
